Without a doubt, running is the least-liked thing in the gym, always. But I’m here to tell you all of the reasons you should find joy in running!!
- It’s good for you physically!
-Running helps strengthen your bones (really important for women!)
-It helps you lose and manage weight
-Burns more calories than almost any other exercise! - It’s good for you mentally!
-Running gives you the opportunity to clear your head, process, and release stress
-It gives you YOU time! - It gets you outside.
-Rain or shine, it’s good for us to get outside and breath the fresh air!
-Running let’s us get a little dirty, wet, and sweaty!
- It’s a great way to get together with friends.
-Life is busy… Running is a healthy way to catch up with your girlfriends!
-Set a weekly running ‘date’ with a friend, it will keep you accountable!
Before you know it, you’ll start to love running! (And if not love, at least like!) The hardest step is the first one. Get yourself out the door and hit the pavement! Running is a great way to stay in shape and get yourself off the couch!

New to running? Start with walking and work up to jogging/walking intervals. Before you know it, you’ll be running without stopping!
